The gallery of the Munich culture department in light historic rooms on Goethestraße 53 is a part of Munich gallery scene worth seeing. Initially designed as an exhibition forum for foreign artists the gallery Goethe’53 today shows the diversity of artistic quality with the attraction of different cultures to a broad audience. As a municipal institution Gallery Goethe’53 supports young sigificant artists offering them a presentation platform for their future projects.
The exhibiting artists are talented autodidacts as well as students of the Academy of Visual arts Munich with which Goethe'53 shares a cooperation.
