The Munich Jewish Museum is a museum, which can look back on a long history even prior to its opening. Yet, there's no systematic collection. The collection stock on Jewish history is fragmentary and new objects were rather accidental. The Jewish Museum reacts to this fact with temporary and changing exhibitions. It becomes a flexible and active place of encounter confronting diverse content.

Backbone and aktion surface are the three exhibition levels (basement, 1st and 2nd floor) granting insights into Jewish life and culture in Munich. A complementing and more profound offer on Jewish history and religion (also for a younger crowd) as well as a small library for all visitors facilitates quest for answers on pending questions.
