Since this year's ban on smoking in most locations inclined tobacco fans meet  up at ChamCurr Smoker Lounge. Udo Riedlechner is the owner who some might know from ChamCurr Bar at Schrannenhalle where guests could enjoy the unusual combination of champagne and curry sausage within the last two years.

"We want to offer our guests not only a cosy ambiance with selected cigars, but also spoil them with delicate drinks and small dishes", says Riedlechner. The liquid comes in diverse tastes: from top-quality and open served champagne, French, Italian and German wine to KöPi, Hofbräu wheat beer and HB Pure as well as exquisite spirits and a classic selection of cocktails. Of course, they have non-alcoholic beverages and also important: yummy dishes like homemade potatoe and goulash soup, tapas, canapé as well as fine ham and cheese. And don't forget the classic: the famous curry sausage!

An accessible humidor is the highlight of ChamCurr Smoker Lounge which accommodates up to sixty people. A special feature: rent one of the humidor's 64 strongboxes for your cigars. The big variety represents size, demand and country: of course, Cuba can be found as well as Brazil and the Dominican Republic. By the way: cigars are sold for the banderole price: extra charges are frowned upon at ChamCurr Smoker Lounge!

With special events and innovative ideas, the ChamCurr Smoker Lounge is having a huge impact on gastronomy in Munich. As Udo Riedlechner explains: "Once a month we like to indulge our guests with a bit of jazz, something which has unfortunately died out in Munich." And women are taken care of too: The Ladys Smoker Night is intended to trigger females' passion for cigar.

Talking about smoke: due to an elaborate ventilation system, which is slightly oversized, the location is perfectly air-conditioned with the open chimney. This makes the lounge a popular place also for ambitious non-smokers. Yet Mark Twain's motto matches this extraordinary location: "If I can't smoke in heaven,  I will stay here." More of a reason to strive to Beethovenplatz and ask for admission. Which is granted gladly, even without a bouncer, but with a special magnetic card instead, which is handed over personally by Udo Riedlechner!
