Restaurant Tantris

A successful Munich developer travels to France and comes back with an idea which won't leave him. Thus, in 1971 Fritz Eichbauer opens Tantris in North Schwabing, where it's a synonym for exotic and taste up to now. The former young cook Eckart Witzigmann was named chef de cuisine and made himself a celebrity in the years to follow.

Today's chef Hans Haas comes up with light, creative dishes and with him Tantris is still known as one of the best restaurants in Germany. Also the ample selection of top wines, taken care of by Germany's best sommelière Paula Bosch, is quite unique. Vive la France!
