The Olympic Swimming Hall

All the Olympic swimming and diving competitions as well as the water polo finals took place in the Olympia Schwimmhalle. In the – as experts will attest – 'fastest water in the world', Mark Spitz, the American swimmer with seven gold medals, swam his way to becoming an Olympic legend.

Nowadays German Championships, Olympic Qualifyings and the daily training of Munich swimming clubs take place here. This swimming hall with five pools is a great combination of sportive claim and leisure-oriented usage. While families feel at ease here, sportive swimmers enjoy the space of the 50-Meter competition pool of the Olympic hall. If you like heights try the jump from the 10-Meter tower with its five platforms or from one of the seven boards.

And if you would like to relax you will enjoy the whirlpool, sauna and solarium. The leisure options are ample: children's games party, trick fountains, massages, snorkel training, aqua jogging and gym. This summer the free program of the leisure time sports club will be extended to the sun bathing area (13.500 sqm.). For stretching, endurance training, aerobic, fitness gymnastics or just for a sun bath.
